Oh, and I tried to make a list of typical equipment. Feel free to notify me if you think something is missing (or if Haxtes doesn't like his carapace helmet - I just didn't feel that all the extra bits could fit into a soft xeno-mesh coif).

I've added a doc called Sample Characters. In it I've tried to use the current version of the CharGen rules to MAKE ONE VERSION (it need not be final, feel free to ignore or change) of Haxtes (Maxi is also covered, but not in much detail - I haven't seen the build you made for him yet).

Haxtes is not identical to the version we made during Christmas; some minor changes were made, and the background package option simply wasn't ready back then.

I also decided to wait with the Psyker stuff, since conceptually that was taught by Xersa. I'd use Prelude XP for that.

Well, hope it makes things easier to understand - I found it quite enjoyable to make a PC this way. In fact, I'll do one of the NPC in detail (suggestions welcome, but I'm thinking Jarra since she's not baseline human).

Talent list added; unlike with Skills (there are only 30) there is no set number of Talents. The list just shows a fair sampling - new ones can be added to Careers as needed or made available as Elite advances (i.e. advances not tied to Career and Rank).

Some of the Talents have different effects from those described in the DH book (despite having the same name). I've tried to make all of the Talents useful for their cost/the rank they are made available.

I've also tried to get rid of some mechanics - instead of re-rolls there are bonuses for example (because re-rolls take time).

Obviously we haven't playtested this yet, but I'm fairly confident that with a little tweaking it will all work ut.
