I want to mentioned that Maxi entered the Arbites precinct in disguise and not as a Throne agent. Maxi's cover is an Adeptus Arbites Investigator sent to investigate the planetary distress call. Especially why it was planet governor court call and not as are more common an Adeptus Arbites call. Though Proctor Noles Rotlan briefing is very satisfying, Maxi is visually annoyed that the precinct haven't moved out to take control over the PDF (Royal Scourges) and the Vigiles. (The nobles own security forces) Now when the Arbites are boosted to almost 20k they could easily press-gang an additionally 100k force. Maxi therefor asks to meet the local ruling nobles at a gala and in effect take them hostage so they could raise their levy for Maxis 100k force. Maxi hopes not to actually raise the 100k force but to stir the pot by turning the heat on the nobles. Note: Max do not intend to push the planetary governess as she in effect is part of the Adeptus Ministoris and therefor worth any respect.

Haxtes plans to be a very eager Acolyte and quicken the pace a little :) Haxtes suffers under not being a spy, he needs a target or agenda of some sort. As he did not get that from the mistress he sulks and comes up with the old 'if you don't have a target make one' routine: So Haxtes plans to hook up with Maxi and attempt to stir things up a little, to see if we can get some of the rats a bit nervous, and maybe they will come out and play. Not the finest of plans, agreed, but one made by a very sullen boy.

OCC: Good post, it seems bit clearer when the dark powers of Flaviin and Ludivich are not in play. But as I recall their true influence had yet to manifest at this point. :p By the way how much input do you like on this post? For instance should Maxi clarify that he wanted an audience with the court to request that planetary and security forces should be set under Adeptus Arbites control and inquire about the governance distress call?
