This is primarily due to the diligent work of the Orodo Hereticus - Tranch is an important area of operations for Hereticus agents. Various other - more permanent - solutions to the Tranch problem have been proposed, but their cost/benefit ratio is far worse than suppressing a few rebellions now and then. The cost of a few Guard regiments is negligible compared to the cost of depopulating/repopulating the world, especially when the loss of tithes is figured into the equation (Tranch is, despite everything, a productive world with an Exactus Particular tithe grade). As of 998.M41 another major insurrection is underway. Ten Guard divisions have be mustered or diverted from the Margin Worlds crusade to suppress it.
