Great Crusade Heroes (<10): None were killed AFAIK.

10th Host Scouts (100): Same procedure as the last batches; except the gene-seed has matured more and the implantation has not been rushed (or not as much anyway). Screening is also more stringent, but before or after implantation. This produces less scouts, but attrition should be lower.

Castor's Childer (30): Includes a few new Marines recently risen from Scout. A handful of elder Childer are with the infiltration teams, but are not counted here.

Castor's Veterans (90): Make no mistake; Castor's men have fought just as hard and suffered almost as many casualties as the rest of the 10th. It's just that this number includes the surviving Childer; they have ether died or been seasoned!

10th Host Marines (340): Have suffered horrendous losses (with great devotion and unflinching loyalty of course); more than one in two are gone! One Company was wiped out to the last man - a couple of others have been reduced to empty shells.

Long War Veterans (150): There is a reason why they are veterans of the Long War; they are survivors. Nevertheless they've seen some pretty intense action, multiple invasions, boarding actions against Astartes and close-quarters fighting with Imperial Terminators...that's simply too much for some.
