Segmentum Solar: The heart of the Imperium. Where the bulk of the action is taking place as the 13th black Crusade continues it's drive for Terra.

Segmentum Obscurus: Northern slice of the galaxy. Where all the action takes place.

The Eye of Horus (aka the Eye of Terror): Home. Refuge from the Imperium.

Imperial Protectorates: Military districts surrounding the Eye. Not part of any Sector, but under the direct command of Segmentum Command at Cypra Mundi. The protectorates have largely been swept away by various reavings.

Cypra Mundi: Infamous Forge World and Navy Segmentum fortress. Destroyed by Abaddon's 13th Black Crusade.

Cadia: Infamous Imperial world at the edge of the Eye of Terror. The quality of it's soldiers is legendary. Currently in Abaddon's hands. A few hundred million surviving Cadians fight a vicious guerrilla war against the occupying forces.

Fenris: Space Wolf Legion homeworld. Currently under siege by a coalition led by the Thousand Sons. Abaddon is said to be most displeased with Magnus the Red's failure to support the Crusade.

Finial Sector: Huge Imperial sector to galactic northwest of the Eye. Comprised of no less than 35 sub-sectors and semi-autonomus regions. The site of two failed reavings. The thrid Reaving of Finial is presently mustering.

Bokiba-Bapas: Capital of the outlying Finial sub-sector of the same name. In the hands of the Black Crusade. Formerly a world of ancient floating cities above a pristine wilderness of boreal forests, tundra and marshlands, Bokiba-Bapas is now a smoldering ruin littered with wrecked ships, war-machines and ten billion corpses. This is where Asmodeus gathered his host. After Maris you returned to pay tribute. Abandoned by the Reaving after its last floating city failed.

Arcuna – Location of a small forge station of the AdMech. You fought the Kull, destroyed the station and got away with more than a hundred suits of power armour meant for the Tigers Argent.

Unnamed system – Far from the light of this unnamed system you encountered the drifting hulk of the Chains of Judgment. Freed the daemonhost Karnak Zul. You returned here to ambush the Tigers Argent fleet pursuing Mikaela’s ships.

Maris – Remote Imperial World. Classified as an agricultural world. Overexploited and is now undergoing desertification. Has long had trouble meeting its tithe and is therefore content to stay under the Imperium’s auspex. The Broken Chains pretended to carry an Inquisitor in trouble. While Maris’ leaders gather upon the orbiting battlestation Castor’s band struck.

Riven – Dual system with two separate inhabited planetary systems. Total of four major worlds; one hive, one paradise, one forge, and one agricultural. Good hunting ground, but most of the intrasystem ships are not warp-capable (and thus low-priority targets).

Torfal – Shrine World. Several generations ago the Inquisition purged the world of 90% of its population. It has since recovered somewhat and dedicated its existence to placating the God-Emperor. Karnak Zul led you here – he claimed the head of the Dusk Hag, you got to invade and ravage the entire capital province of Orlist.

Nim-Kor – Imperial world engaged in a two-way civil war between rival heirs to the Governor’s mantle. Chaos-worshipping savages inhabit the southern wastelands. You cut a deal with the savages, tricked one of the world-be governors and then proceeded to kill them both. Afterwards you unleashed the Khornates on the world. Min-Kors orbital assets were used to give the fleet much-needed maintenance and refits.

Moeral Princeps – Capital of the Moeral sub, gateway to the Median Hegemony, heart of the Final sector. Asmodes forward base. You came here after Nim-Kor to pay tribute.

Scarus Sector: Lies to the galactic north of Finial sector. The Adeptus Terra, particularly the Administratum is very strong here. As a result the sector is known to be very bureacratic, corrupt and inefficient - even by Imperial standards.

Calixis Sector: To the galactic north-west of Finial. Large in size, but low population. First claimed for the Imperium in M39. Gateway to the Koronus Expanse.

Scintilla: Sector capital. Home of the Tricorn, the Palace-Fortress of the hated Inquisition - it is from here that the agents of the Haegum strike against the just liberators of the Reaving.

Ixaniad Sector: The the galactic west of Finial. Old and decadent. Firmly loyalist - so far. Can only be reached if Finial falls.

Gehenna Sector: To the galactic south-west of Finial. Seizing Finial will allow a pincer attack on this sector.

Mandragora Sector: To the distant galactic south of Finial Sector. More or less completely overwhelmed by the 13th Black Crusade.

Zephyr: Shrine world at the spinward edges of the Finial sector. Famous for its many fortress-monasteries where Sisters of Battle train. Castor tricked the Abbess into providing his 'Crusade' with a number of Battle Sisters. A few survived to become Daughters, most did not.

Consovor: A feral world close to Kazim that has never been cataloged by Imperial explorators. Or rather it was cataloged, but the Inquisition altered the records to show only uninhabitable and resource-poor worlds. ]I[ Renthor established a secret base at an ancient and abandoned hive. The daemonhost Karnak Zul led Castor here. Now taken over by the Word Bearers, expanded and turned into a secret base for the 10th Host. The world is geologically very active and characterized by lots of rugged terrain. The primary plant life is fungal. Macro-insects and other over-sized vermin dominate the ecosphere. The feral human stock has a high rate of mutation and the wilderness has a large beastman/mutant population. Human sacrifice is a common part of the local religions. There are very few remains of any high-tech human settlements. Most likely the humans are either descended from a long-lost colony that quickly collapsed or from marooned space-farers. There is consequently very little chance of archaotech salvage.

Cyprian's Gate: Located coreward of the Hazeroth Abyss, only nominally part of the Calixis Sector. Extensive black market and cold trade connections. Infamous pleasure planet for the rich and powerful from coreward Calixis and rimward Ixaniad. Scoured by the 10th as part of one of their first forays into Calixis. Launchpad for further infiltration of Calixis.

Kazim: Imperial world existing in an area of space lying between sectors Finial, Calixis, Scarus and Ixaniad. Captured by Castor to serve as the forward base for the Calixian raider force. There are two major continental (polar) land-masses. Neither is heavily populated. The majority of the 100-million strong population is housed on a major island chain near the equator. Around the capital island there exists a number of hive-like off-shore habitats of great age. After pacification the planet provides some recruits, plus edible bio-mass for the fleet and raiders. Lesser islands have been awarded to affiliated warbands to secure their loyalty - the fate of the inhabitants of these fiefs are varied, but universally appalling. A genestealer infestation was uncovered on the planet. The stealers were purged, but their Patriarch is till unaccounted for.

Samson IV: Imperial world on the coreward edge of the Hazeroth sub. The site of the 10th's first major engagement under its new Apostle, Castor Rebelius Xandor. One Marine Strike Cruiser was lost to system defenses before the Word Bearers could effect a landing and pacify anti-orbital systems. After looting and general merrymaking all unshielded urban areas were subjected to orbital bombardment by the 10th's Battle Barge. Samson IV is currently plagued with pirate and xenos raids - it will also be unable to meet its upcoming tithe.
