Nissimon

by DM B

This rogue psyker/sorcerer was the sole survivor from the priority holds of the Inquisition vessel you found adrift in the void. He's slowly been rising in rank thanks to his considerable powers and many scholarly lores. He looks every bit the Chaos warlock - clad in crimson robes, tall and gaunt, shaven head complete with cranial implants. If Castor isn't much mistanken he's the most powerful sorcerer in your epmploy - in terms of combat capability at least.

Nissimon continues to prove his worth. He's quite the cabalist; he's created and conducted many of the great sorcerous rituals that have become a mainstay of 10th Host operations. You've rarely met someone with the required combination of organizational skills, sorcerous lore and sheer bloodthirst that is required for these major ceremonies.

He's also combat capable in a way Lumin is not: When you boarded the Majestic it was he who rallied your remaining Word Bearer sorcerers when they got their assess handed to them by the Tigers' librarians. Without this intervention it's not unthinkable that Chapter Master Eos would have carried the day against Castor.

Of course he's also a sneaky git that's worming himself up the rank ladder, making friend in high places, destroying his enemies and making sure most god-fearing folk stay the hell clear of his path.

Castor is convinced that he has his own Calixian agenda and that it has something to do with Scintilla - or someone on Scintilla.

Nissimon has risen to become the undisputed Master of Rituals. Whenever Castor gives the order it is he and his apprentices that arrange everything and make sure the rituals are given form and purpose, rather than devolving into slaughterfests with little actual effect.

He's also the most combat capable of all your sorcerers, limited only by the fact that he's not Astartes. He's much more powerful than any of your actual Librarians, but lacks the staying power that Astartes physiology and PA offers.

Instrumental in recreating the Dusk Hag and creating the prototype for the Mark Aurelian (Mark A) PA.
