GC MARK OF DESTINY

by DM B

Vengeance-class. Light lances and powerful long-range batteries.

Part of the 66th Grand Cruiser Division.

GC WARPATH

by DM B

Repulsive-class grand cruiser. This class came late and is seen as a precursor to modern battlecruiser designs. It is slightly smaller and much leaner than most grand cruisers. Armed with a balanced mix of weapons.

Part of the 66th Grand Cruiser Division (lead ship).

GC LINEBREAKER

by DM B

Avenger-class Grand Cruiser. Insanely powerful, but relatively short-ranged broadsides.

Part of the 66th Grand Cruiser Division

GC TRIUMPHANT

by DM B

Avenger-class Grand Cruiser. Insanely powerful, but relatively short-ranged broadsides.

Captured over Valpolicella.

CA LORD HAX

by DM B

Lunar-class. Part of the Fenksword defensive squadron. The ship and her crew (captain included) defected at Guytoga - a result of years of subversion.

The captain brought with him military plans and codes for the 6th Circle of Finial.

Commander: Captain Victor

CA PRIDE OF CANOPUS

by DM B

Lunar-class. Belonged to the Fenksworld squadron. Captured over Guytoga by the 1st Company.

BB CARTHAGE

by DM B

Retribution-class vessel. The ship is in very good condition and has a very skilled crew.

Flagship of Admiral von Graves' task force.

BB FIST OF THE FAITHFUL

by DM B

Imperial Retribution-class battleship. Captured relatively intact by a massed Astartes boarding action over Valpolicella.

Manned by a mixture of pirate prize crews and press-ganged Imperials; currently not a very battle-worthy mix, but it looks very promising in the long run.

CLS PRIDE OF HERMES

by DM B

Astartes Strike Cruiser. Home to the Cult of the Swift Death (Raptors).

CLS ENDLESS NIGHT

by DM B

Astartes Strike Cruiser. Home to the Cult of the Night Without End (Obliterators).

CLS CANIS CANUM

by DM B

Astartes Strike Cruiser. Home to the Cult of the Faceless Warrior.

Supreme Domina Kimery

by DM B

Leader of the Daughters of the Word. Formerly an acolyte of the Inquisition. Turned by Castor.

CA PHATEON

by DM B

The Phateon is the newest Gothic-class cruiser in von Graves' inventory, a vessel that's a mere two hundred years old. Despite her young age the ship suffers from chronic technical malfunctions; her tech-priests claim that once the ship becomes older and wiser, her humours will even out.

Part of Admiral von Graves' fleet.

CA AMPHION

by DM B

The Gothic-class cruiser Amphion is the sister ship of the Zethus (a vessel known to be operating in the Calixis sector). Both vessels contain numerous upgrades, including improved, long-range lances. Unfortunately Amphion's dwindling number of resident tech-priests have been unable to properly maintain all her tech-mysteries, making her little more than any other Gothic-class.

She is part of Admiral von Graves' renegade fleet.

Formation and affiliation bonuses

by DM B

Ships that work together with other ships over time will gain a bonus to their effectiveness. Adding new ships will upset the balance for a while, until the new ships can be properly integrated.

This applies to squadrons (i.e. escorts), divisions (i.e. capital ships), and task forces (capitsl w/escorts).

Example: The destroyers of Lion's Pride gain a squadron bonus when operating together.

Example: The cruisers of 2nd CruDiv gain a division bonus when operating together.

Example: BatDiv 1 and Fuires Sqd gain a TF bonus when operating together.

Ships from the same affiliation also gain a slight bonus when operating together. If ships from hostile affiliation are placed together it will likewise hamper the formation.

Example: The ships that came with Admiral von Graves gain a bonus when working together.
